LIFE

Life - perhaps the most beautiful outcome of all coincidence in the Universe albeit spent in most uncertainty. The uncertainty of how to live it the most? How to make it meaningful? How to add value to it? The uncertainity of when it'll end? Yes, sometimes you live long enough to make your skin go all wrinkly, your heart working on pacemaker or worse, in deep sound sleep with machines beeping next to you but not enough a moment to realise what you've lived & why you've lived it this way.
No, I ain't gonna to tell you how to live your life, how to be in a moment, or how to be thankful for it. Here we are going to talk about the basic nature of it.

What do you think sustains life?

Humans, Animals, Flowers, Trees, a guy in coma? (yes)
Initially it was considered that the criteria for being living includes - growth in size, locomotion, metabolism etc. But this way a snowball would be considered living as it can grow in size & is mobile. Until they discovered that consciousness  could be the vital point in considering something living.

What do you think makes life meaningful?

Enough of facts, back to my jibber-jabber. One of the possible answer may be the purpose, the aim of our life, or what you've done in your lifetime e.g, a scientists may do a discovery, an astronaut would visit space or a politician would build damaged roads or taps with no water (in India). But about life, I've found something more intriguing & that is - it's Incessant. And by incessant I didn't mean that it goes on & never stops, rather I mean that it keeps changing it's forms. It continuously keeps transforming from one form to another.
Like moon, so serene & beautiful on it's own, but do poets write about it existence? No. They write about it's ability to change it's phases, from no moon to full moon, from nothing to everything.

But how does that make it meaningful?

Look at this picture, everybody has their own perspective for this simple tree. Same goes with life. The idea of life changing it forms is among few of the constant & certain thing about it.
Think of it, we all have got our life, not only humans but also the other organisms around us, we all have got our perks & perils, our struggles to fight for survival, our advantages to keep-up with the change. But one constant thing in it is, it's consistency to keep going on; and it'll always fight to keep it going on, achieving greater degrees & outgrowing it.

Basic nature of life -

Think of a tiny cell, LUCA (last universal common ancestor) alone in continuosly transforming earth sitting inside some tiny water puddle waiting for favourable conditions to arrive so that the seized life in it can expand itself. And make more of tiny LUCA but this time, with variations.

Tiny LUCA was the first form of life, from which we all have came from, continuously by changing forms & getting advanced at each point.

But did LUCA continuosly keep on reproducing? No, it did stop, took rest, to prepare itself for reproducing again. Rest & activity both are the steps of progress. For better outcomes, it's needed that we take rest & come on action again when we're ready to face the challenges. Same as tiny pollen grain from flowers, who contains sporopollenin in their exine(outer wall) to protect them from adversity & reproducing again when enough resources are available.  That's what I meant when I said that life doesn't goes on always. Life do take rest, wait for contentment to knock it's door so that it can expand itself. The continuous cycle of organism sustaining life & reproducing (changing forms) at favorable times explains incessant nature of life. And perhaps the only constant nature of it.

How's all this helpful?

The only point of filling you up with all these facts is to let you know how much of value life holds. So that you don't over value it & sayonara your peace. It's to explain how much of pressure we take everyday to make it meaningful, make it outstanding in front of others, while all it requires, it already possesses; The ability to change & expand. At greater level, it holds what really matters. It'll keep flowing like water, guised as puddle in a pit for a while, but eventually flowing. Either you're going to space, writing a book, working 9 to 5 or begging in streets, this basic algorithm isn't going to rule out any of us.

Thank you for taking out time to look at things through my paradigm. Do leave your thoughts in comments.
